Experience
Katharine has had an involvement in leadership and professional development of senior managers since 1990 when she developed for the National School of Government a two week residential management programme ("Young Node") for high flyers in the private and public sectors. In 2002-3, she worked with the Cabinet Office (Centre for Management and Policy Studies) to develop an e-learning leadership programme ("PRIME") for senior civil servants across Whitehall, building on the knowledge she gained in her research project – which focused on the training and development needs of senior managers in BIS (formerly the DTI) conducted as part of her Masters in Organisational Behaviour.
Since setting up
in 1997, Katharine has worked with a variety of public and private sector clients including most central Government departments plus the Insolvency Service; Office of Fair Trading; Postal Services Commission; Post Office Users National Council (now Postwatch); Lexis Public Relations; Oxford Molecular; The Portman Group; Trading Standards Institute; Pearson Television and APACS (now UK Payments).
Since qualifying as a coach in 2003, she has coached over 300 clients. They have included the Chief Executive of a Strategic Health Authority, a senior partner of a City law firm, a Director General in a central Government department, many senior civil servants and high potentials, and managers in a variety of sectors.
